About
Bio
Stephen Lawlor, AIA is originally from Massachusetts where he graduated from the Middlesex School
in Concord. He attended Hobart College and the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies in NYC,
before earning his masters degree in architecture at the University of Maryland. Prior to establishing
Lawlor Architects, Steve was a principal and senior project architect at McInturff Architects. He and his family
make their home in Washington, DC where he has been living and practicing for twenty years. When not
in the studio, Steve is an avid cook, skier and guitarist.
