Cady's Alley, Washington, DC

Located on M St. in Georgetown, a forward looking developer wanted to transform four run-down buildings into a destination retail showroom. The project combined the four properties, added an 8000sf addition and made a public passage connecting M Street to the new retail alley in the rear. The new, openly modern addition is attached to the nineteenth century rowhouses with a 2.5 story glazed, interior courtyard that links both the past and future of this famous historic district.
