Light House

This 100 year old, 3 story structure had been
a boarding house for several decades. When our clients purchased it, they decided to update this Washington, DC classic only 3 blocks to the US Capitol. Their program called for a rethinking of all living spaces throughout the house so it would reflect their clean sense of design and uncluttered lifestyles while capturing as much natural light as possible. The design incorporates translucent glass walls, bamboo and maple floors, custom built-ins, new lighting design as well as new room finishes and configurations.
